New Zealand Humanists support and represent non-religious people in leading fulfilling and ethical lives based on our shared human values. We believe in secularism, equality and human rights for everyone, regardless of religion or belief.

  • Humanists look to science to understand the world around us.
  • We accept that this life is the only one we know we have.
  • We believe that morality arises out of human nature and culture.

We believe in promoting human welfare and fulfillment. We base decisions on reason and compassion, and create our own meaning and purpose in life.

The Humanist Society of New Zealand holds regular monthly meetings on the first Monday of each month from 6pm, from February to November.
